Gainesville attorney, Jennifer Biewend, is a 2004 graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and a 2000 honors graduate from the University of Florida. Jennifer worked for Avera & Smith as a legal assistant throughout her undergraduate schooling, and has been an attorney at the firm since 2005. Prior to joining Avera & Smith, Jennifer spent two years at the Office of the State Attorney in Gainesville. She interned in the Domestic Violence and Traffic divisions in 2003-2004, and was hired on as an Assistant State Attorney in 2004, where she successfully prosecuted misdemeanor and traffic crimes in county court.
Jennifer practices in the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, and criminal defense. She is also a member of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association.
